shoes off at home. a must

This has nothing to do with my profession. But it’s important to me, and it’s a rule I live by. I’ll forever hold a grudge against my previous apartment maintenance for coming in with their dirty, muddy boots on my carpet and making faces when I’d ask them to take their shoes off.

I now take a stand. No shoes in my house.

In my opinion, shoes in the house is crazy behavior. It could be an Asian thing, but I’ve never understood how people feel comfortable doing that. It freaks me out.

Very Important Point 11:
It’s important to sit on your floor in peace, knowing your germ-ridden shoes aren’t sharing the space.

Very Important Point 12:
This is more of a shameless confession: I love it when others let me wear shoes in their house. Shoes are a part of the outfit!
