Maslow was on his game.

Maslow was really doing his thing when he created his hierarchy of needs.

As much as I can stress, marketers need to stick to fulfilling customers’ basic needs:
To do well. Feel good about themselves. Feel loved and safe. Have shelter over their head and food to eat.

Very Important Point 5:
I said in another blog that people don’t care to read all your content. They’re really looking for what’s going to help them be safe or feel good in their purchase.

Very Important Point 6:
Working for a nonprofit trying to get someone to donate? Sure, you can tell them they’re doing it to help someone else. But what are you really selling to them? The chance to fulfill their concepts of self-actualization and self-esteem.
